Yui Sakurai made her major solo debut with Universal Music last September. Her first CD single since her major debut, "Natsuizon," is set for release on July 29!

Yui Sakurai is active as a member of the idol group FRUITS ZIPPER. She made her major solo debut with the song “Kimi no Koto ka? Suki na Watashi ka? Suki” via Universal Music in September 2025, and it has now been decided that she will release her first CD single since her major debut on July 29.
The title track, “Natsuizon,” is a fresh take on a summer song themed around “Reiwa-era summer romance.” It depicts the innocent feelings of spending one’s first summer with someone special—amidst thrilling anticipation, the song captures the joy of modern summer activities unique to the Reiwa era, such as indoor dates and evening strolls. It is a Reiwa-era summer love song characterized by lyrics that realistically convey the exhilaration of realizing you might be falling for someone, paired with a pop melody that brightens those feelings.
The second track, "Hikari," has been selected as the ending theme for the TV anime "Running Through a Transparent Night with You, I Fell in Love with the Invisible," which premieres on July 6. It is a pure and sincere love song about realizing the importance of connecting with others and the joy of having someone who responds to you, and wanting to return those feelings to the person who helped you realize them.
The third track is her landmark major-label solo debut song, "I Like the Me Who Likes You." It is a positive love song about how falling in love with someone, and having that person fall in love with you in return, allows you to learn to love yourself as well. "Nigate Osoroi,"
included exclusively on the First Press Limited Edition A and First Press Limited Edition B, is a slightly quirky love song about the bond with the person you love.It’s a heartfelt song that depicts the moment when sharing small dislikes—rather than just having the same likes—brings two people closer together, transforming that shared discomfort into a deep certainty of love within their special bond.
This release will be available in three versions: the standard edition, plus First Press Limited Edition A and First Press Limited Edition B.
