2022年10月に結成された、あっきぃ、まぜ太、ぷりっつ、ちぐさくん、あっと、けちゃからなる個性豊かな6人組ユニット。
毎週日曜22時に放送される公式生放送や、個性あふれる企画やゲーム実況・ショートアニメ・オリジナル曲・歌ってみたなど動画配信を中心に活動中。
そんな彼ら待望の1st Single「RAINBOWxPATROL」がついに発売！
STPR Recordsがプロデュースする今作は、通常盤・AMP盤・TAK盤の3形態で展開される。
通常盤は表題曲と全員歌唱楽曲の2曲を収録。
AMP盤は表題曲に加え、AMP(あっきぃ・まぜ太・ぷりっつ)メンバー歌唱曲を収録。
TAK盤は表題曲に加え、TAK(ちぐさくん・あっと・けちゃ)メンバー歌唱曲を収録。
また特別実写企画としてAMPチーム vs TAKチームの料理対決を実施。相手チームがリクエストした料理を、レシピを見ずに調理するという難題。
果たして、邪魔する相手チームに心乱されることなく料理を完成させることはできるのか。
AMP盤にはAMPチームのチャレンジを中心に、TAK盤にはTAKチームのチャレンジを中心とした映像が特典として収録される。
表題曲の「RAINBOWxPATROL」はるぅと(すとぷり)が楽曲を提供。3月から始まるAMPTAKxCOLORS初のライブツアーのタイトルにもなっている。
