. To survive and return from the island, cooperation was essential—regardless of whether one was a condemned criminal or an executioner.
Meanwhile, the Shogunate, led by Yamada Asaemon Shugen, had ordered an additional landing force to be sent to the Immortal Realm
. Among them were members of the Ishikakure-shu, a group with a history tied to Gembimaru. Though Gembimaru and his companions
sought to find the elixir and escape the island as quickly as possible, the
Tensens stood in their way.
