When discussing the mechanics of "Super Dimension Fortress Macross," the "Destroid"—which defends the Macross ships—is just as indispensable as
the "Valkyrie." While Wave has already released 1/72-scale models, we will now be expanding the "Destroid" series to 1/100 scale as well.
The third release in the series, the "Phalanx," is a snap-fit model that requires no glue, just like the "Tomahawk" and "Defender," with polycaps allowing for articulation at each joint.
The finished product faithfully captures the proportions and details of the 1/72 scale version. Displaying it alongside
WAVE’s separately sold 1/100 VF-1 series will bring the world of "Super Dimension Fortress Macross" to life.
