When discussing the mechanics of "Super Dimension Fortress Macross," the "Destroid"—which defends the Macross ships—is just as indispensable as the "Valkyrie." While Wave has already released 1/72-scale models, they are now expanding the "Destroid" series to 1/100 scale as well.The second release in the series, the "Defender," like the separately sold "Tomahawk," features a snap-fit construction requiring no glue, with polycaps allowing for articulation at each joint. The finished product faithfully captures the proportions and details of the 1/72 scale model. Displaying it alongside Wave’s separately sold 1/100 VF-1 series will further expand the world of "Super Dimension Fortress Macross."
