「超時空要塞マクロス」のメカニクスを語る上で、「バルキリー」と共に欠かせない存在なのがマクロス艦の防衛にあたる「デストロイド」。
ウェーブでは、既に1/72スケールで立体化をしていましたが、1/100スケールでも「デストロイド」シリーズを展開していきます。
その第1弾は「トマホーク」。
キットは、接着剤を使用しないスナップフィットタイプで、各関節はポリキャップにより可動。
1/72のプロポーションとディテールを余すことなく凝縮した仕上がりとなっています。
別売りのウェーブ社1/100 VF-1シリーズと並べれば、「超時空要塞マクロス」の世界観が広がります。
