[
Vehicle Overview] The V-THOR is a general-purpose bipedal Hexa Gear developed with the full resources of the Liberty Alliance to serve as the successor to the Bolt Rex.The development and manufacturing of this unit took an unexpected turn following a change in L.O.Z.’s plans, leading to the adoption of an operational system unlike any existing HexaGear. While it is equipped with KARMA but does not implement Zoatex, it would be incorrect to classify it as a second-generation model; this unit is a unique machine that does not fit into any generational classification, and if one must label it, it would be considered fourth-generation.
What makes this unit unique is its proprietary system, the “Corridor of Self-Forgetfulness,” which achieves complete integration between the Hexa Gear and the Governor.Born from the extreme advancement of BMI technology—which bridges humans and machines—this system synchronizes the two at a higher level, inducing a state of immersion in the piloting Governor. By achieving reaction speeds rivaling those of enhanced soldiers’ neural transmission, the unit is capable of demonstrating astonishing mobility. With its primary drive units constructed from the same state-of-the-art artificial muscles as the L.O.Z., the unit becomes, for the Governor, an extension of their own body—one they can control as freely as their own arms and legs—and can thus be described as a “Boosted Armor” type.It is no exaggeration to say that the
Governor is connected to the outside world through the V-THOR via the BMI.The pilot perceives all external phenomena directly through the unit’s eyes, armor, and artificial muscles. Needless to say, this complete integration means that control performance is heavily influenced by the pilot’s mental state; it drops significantly the moment the pilot’s concentration wanes, and cases of nervous system dysfunction are frequently observed.Mental discipline is also necessary to maintain stable performance, making personnel with a stable mental and physical balance—such as soldiers with extensive combat experience—the preferred candidates. Due to the presence of this specialized system, the actual number of operational units is extremely low.
One of its standard weapons, the super-large charged tactical sword that exceeds the pilot’s height, is an enlarged version of the Ex-Armor Type: Monoceros “Moonlight.” Its plasma-charged blade, combined with the V-Toll’s own speed, can instantly cleave through even the heavy armor of second-generation Hexagears. The HD Plasma Cannon features an external, interchangeable Hexagram Storage unit, allowing for an independent energy supply and enabling continuous fire without compromising the unit’s mobility. The “Exit Slider” mounted on the waist incorporates a propulsion unit and a gravity controller; in addition to assisting the main unit’s mobility, it can detach to become a floating unit, thereby achieving high maneuverability.
As a weapon, the V-THOR contains even more unpredictable elements than third-generation HexaGears. The fact that this unit was deployed in actual combat despite this knowledge is undoubtedly linked to a single report from the Night Stalkers unit.
The root cause of it all was an encounter with a mysterious entity—the end result of self-evolution, or what is referred to as the nameless “It.”This “Thunder God” housed the soul of a battle-hardened, seasoned Governor within its frame and was necessary to confront the “giant living machines” that would eventually arrive. Product Specifications]
■ This humanoid Hexa Gear features a main unit with a total height of approximately 206 mm and a rear-deploying cockpit.
■ Boasting the widest range of motion in the series (as of March 2022), it can wield large swords with both hands or hold a rifle in a soldier-like stance. Please enjoy the joint structure, which prioritizes mobility more than any previous humanoid HexaGear model.
■ In addition to double-jointed elbows, forward movement of the pectoral muscle unit and a universal wrist joint allow for a wide range of posing options.
■ The newly sculpted wrist units include four types—"fist," "open palm," "gun grip," and "sword grip"—with separate left and right parts included.
■The knee joints feature a double-jointed design with an interlocking mechanism; the ankles allow the toes to move forward and backward; and the thighs feature a highly detailed design, including artificial muscle details visible through gaps in the armor, giving the figure a sense of substantial density.
■The included HD Plasma Cannon can be mounted on the back mount. The Hexagram Storage can also be removed. Furthermore, by swapping out the barrel section, it can be used as a Gatling gun firing physical projectiles.
■The “Exit Slider” equipped on the waist can be removed and connected on both sides to function as a large physical shield. Alternatively, by swapping out certain sliding mechanisms, it can be attached to the legs as a board-type high-speed mobility device.
■The large, charged tactical sword—which is significantly taller than the figure itself—can be drawn from its sheath. With a total length of 283 mm, it is currently the longest melee weapon in the Hexa Gear series.
■The torso features a combination of multiple joints that allow for movement forward, backward, left, and right, as well as a certain degree of waist rotation.
■Compatible Governors include Pawn A1, Pawn X1, Sentinel, War Mage, and Early Governor Vol. 1; however, it is not compatible with all Governors.
■ Includes
a dedicated joint compatible with the separately sold Flying Base Neo. ■ Available in seven molded colors: White, Gunmetal, Dark Gray, Blue-Gray, Silver, Gold, and Clear Blue.
