プラモデルとしては初の立体化となります。
第一弾の「エヴァンゲリオン初号機」同様、CAD設計による精密な関節部設計と原型師の手で作り出す洗練されたフォルムの造形を融合させることで、決定版とも言うべきプラモデルに仕上がりました。
さらに、劇中での活躍を再現するために数多くのオプションパーツを付属させた、大ボリュームの商品となりました。
【ギミック解説】
顎部の可動：顎関節を引き出しつつ可動させることで、差し替えなしで開口状態を再現可能。
4本腕の状態の再現：胸部パーツを差し替えることで、4本腕の状態を再現可能。
防御ユニット格納ブロックの装備：肩部を差し替えることで、防御ユニット格納ブロックを装備可能。
槍の収束状態の再現：二本分の槍と連結パーツを使用することで、収束状態の槍（一本）を再現可能。
膝関節の連動可動：腿前面と膝頭が連動して可動。
首関節の連動可動：上を向く際に喉部が連動して可動。
防御ユニット台座の連結：防御ユニット台座のリブを使用して連結が可能。
フライングベース・ネオ（別売）に対応：腰部後ろのパーツを差し替えることで接続が可能。
【付属手首】
握り拳（左右）、平手（左右）、槍持ち手（左右）、鷲掴み形状平手（左右）が付属。
さらに残りの2本の腕の手首、平手（左右）、槍持ち手（左右）、鷲掴み形状平手（左右）が付属。
豊富な手首パーツで劇中のシーンを再現可能です。
【一部塗装済み箇所】
頭部周辺の細かな色分けは塗装済みで再現。
組み立てただけで劇中のイメージに近いエヴァンゲリオン第13号機が再現可能です。
