Originally broadcast in 2001, *Ultraman Cosmos* depicts the importance of “compassion,” “kindness,” and “pursuing one’s dreams” through the coming-of-age story of protagonist Musashi Haruno (played by Taiyo Sugiura), who strives to protect monsters. This series has now been remastered in HD for the first time.In addition to all 65 episodes of the TV series—the longest in Ultra Man series history—this release also includes theatrical films and highlights from commemorative events, all presented in HD-remastered quality for an even more immersive viewing experience.The “Ultraman Cosmos Complete Blu-ray Box” consists of 11 Blu-ray discs—the largest set in the history of Ultraman Series merchandise—and two booklets. Released in the commemorative year marking the 25th anniversary of the series’ broadcast, this long-awaited Blu-ray box set is truly worthy of the title “Complete Edition.”

This title was announced at “TSUBURAYA CONVENTION 2025,” a major event for Ultraman series fans held on September 13 of last year, and marks the culmination of the <Late Heisei Ultraman Series HD Remaster Project>.We are working to enhance the image quality through HD remastering optimized to allow viewers to enjoy the *Ultraman Cosmos* series—which spans a wide range of formats, from the TV series (based on video master tapes) to multiple theatrical films—with a more natural high-resolution look.In the later Heisei Ultraman series works released after *Ultraman Cosmos* (2001)—when digital production workflows had become standard—numerous CGI (computer-generated imagery) shots were combined with traditional special effects footage, resulting in a composition that includes elements not typically found in standard television dramas.As a series produced in the early 21st century, this work features an extremely complex interweaving of transitional digital and analog production processes, which was one of the factors hindering the realization of HD remastering.For this HD remastered edition, we have addressed this challenge by leveraging advances in super-resolution technology and conducting repeated manual checks and refinements to ensure the optimal viewing experience that captures the director’s intent for each scene. The result is a natural high-resolution look that stands up to today’s home viewing environments.
