■Story
: In the 13th century, a young girl found herself in a slave market in Iran.
This is the story of a witch who threw a vast continent into turmoil. Sitarā, having lost her
mother and been torn far from her homeland,
Still young, with no means to survive on her own and no hope for the future, she is taken in by Fatima, the kind-hearted wife of a scholar.
“If you study and become wise, no matter what troubles arise, you’ll know what’s best to do.”
Moved by the words of Fatima’s son, Muhammad, Sitara comes to understand the potential and importance of “knowledge” and deepens her education.
She dreamed of one day catching up to Muhammad, who had set out on a journey to seek knowledge… Around
that time, the “Mongol Empire”—the mightiest on earth, led by Emperor Genghis Khan—was repeatedly invading other nations and expanding its influence day by day.
This boundless ambition finally reached the town where Shitara lived. Her peaceful days came to an end at the hands of Tului, the empire’s fourth prince. Having lost
everything, Shitara swore revenge against this mysterious and powerful nation.
