Yuki Igarashi’s debut feature-length animated film,

based on the classic manga *The Knight of the Ribbon* by Osamu Tezuka. ■ Story
: Sapphire, the princess of a lost kingdom.Having had everything in her homeland, Silverland, taken from her by the
calamity “Nergal,” she arrives in Goldland at the very end of her despair. Though burdened by her
past, she begins to find a glimmer of hope as she encounters the kindness of the people there.
However, as if to mock her peaceful daily life, the calamity “Nergal” reappears.
The despair that once reduced her homeland to ashes now threatens to rob this place of its light as well.
She will lose nothing more. She will not let anyone else lose anything either.
Wiping away her tears of sorrow, the girl takes up her sword.
This is the story of a heroine who tied her ribbon and resolved to defy her fate.
