その『ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版』シリーズに、「エヴァンゲリオン正規実用型 2号機」がラインナップ。
先にリリースされた初号機や第4の使徒などの流れを汲み、オリジナルデザインへのリスペクトと大胆なアレンジを融合させて生み出したスタチューです。
ジョシュ・ニジー氏が描いたのは、海辺で使徒を迎え撃つ2号機の姿。
両手に武器を構えたケレン味あふれるポージングを取らせ、ヒロイックなジオラマ作品に作り上げました。
より人間らしいバランスの身体に散りばめたのは、意味を感じさせるモールドや内部機構。
初号機との共通項を設け、シリーズ性も示しました。
全身を彩る赤は、アニメを思わせる鮮やかなトーンと重機のような鈍い光沢を組み合わせたもの。
四眼と胸部の発光ギミックとともに機体の実在感を色で強調します。
タンカーが沈む工業地帯も、波打つ赤い海まで緻密な仕上がりです。
またDX版には追加装備を用意しました。
LEDで噴射を表現したジェットパック。
刃に経年変化が表れたカッター型プログレッシブナイフ。
そして放電部を展開したサンダースピア。
正規実用型の高い汎用性を体感してください。
