四半世紀にわたり読み継がれる原作コミックより、「レイカ」をリアルなトーンで立体化。
玄野計を慕い続けるヒロイン、レイカのスタチューが原作版で登場です。
本作でモチーフにしたのは、原作者・奥浩哉先生による描きおろしイラスト。愛らしいポージングや端正なプロポーションの
記号性に目を凝らし、独特のバランスで融け合う写実とデフォルメを立体へ落とし込みました。
ウインクで微笑む表情、艶やかに流れる黒髪、きめの細かい肌。造形と彩色はイラストの印象にこだわりつつ、リアルな生命感を
散りばめました。潤いを湛える唇、わずかに浮かぶ皮膚の赤みは、彼女の息遣いや血の巡りを想起させます。一方で大胆なスーツと
Xショットガンは無機質な感触を追求。マットなブラックや整然としたテクスチャーが、彼女の「生」をより強く輝かせます。
彼女が立つ特製ベースは、得点と引き換えに入手できる「より強力な武器」をイメージしました。硬質な円形のフォルム、
整然と並ぶパネルとパイプ、LEDが放つ青白い光。一つひとつが戦いの記憶を呼び覚まし、作品世界への没入感を深めます。
