一本の竹刀が突然、スケートボードに乗った少年の行く手を阻んだ。
竹刀を構えているのは道着を身にまとった中年の男性だ。
「武士道とは、単なる精神ではなく文化の継承でもある。剣の速さが銃に勝るとは思っていないが、継承だけは途絶えさせるわけにはいかない。理解できるか？」
「はい、父上！私がその武士道精神を受け継ぎます！」
Facelessの目は揺るぎない決意と熱い思いに満ちていた。
男は満面の笑みを浮かべ、自分の首に掛けていた家紋入りのペンダントをFacelessに渡した。
