古びた宮殿の中で、玉座に座る老王が人生最後の戴冠式を行った。
「Faceless騎士長、これよりお前は正式かつ合法な神聖十字軍の名誉騎士となる。この栄誉を生涯大切にし、国のために力を尽くすのだ。」
老王は、震える手でペンダントを若者の首に掛けた。
「栄誉を受け継ぎ、国のために戴冠します！」
老人は玉座に座り、そのまま息絶えた。
Facelessは片膝をついて頭を垂れ、三分間の黙祷をした後、立ち上がり去って行った。
彼の目からは哀しみが消え、強い決意が宿った。
