本作品の主役機(プレイヤー機)である「AS-5E3レイノス」を1/35スケールでプラスチックキット化！
全体的なフォルムは当時のパッケージイラスト等を踏襲しつつも、ミリタリーメカ的なディティールを随所に追加し、現在のメカファンの目にも耐えうる造形としてアレンジされています。
※2015年12月にプレイステーション4にて復活した際にパッケージやPC素材を一新した「リニューアルVer.」での再生産となります。
