"Katsushika Hokusai × Hatsune Miku" 3D Magnet: Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji—The Great Wave off Kanagawa [Re-release: July 2026]

Katsushika Hokusai, who is said to have created over 30,000 works throughout his career, produced compositions and color palettes that remain innovative even today. His art spans an infinite range of styles and genres, resonating with people around the world.
In this special collaboration, illustrator iXima has depicted Hatsune Miku alongside Katsushika Hokusai’s works in a way that makes them complement each other, fusing Hokusai’s long history and passion for art with Hatsune Miku’s innovative spirit, which constantly brings something new to the world.
We’ve received a comment from iXima! When drawing
character illustrations, the presence of line art and the way objects and space are rendered on a two-dimensional plane are the elements I’m most conscious of, and I feel that ukiyo-e is the root of these elements and the ultimate form they take. I am deeply honored to have been given the opportunity to release a
collaborative work based on the great masterpieces and culture that have had such a profound influence on me. Hokusai’s paintings feature iconic elements—such as the waves in *The Great Wave off Kanagawa* or the cherry blossoms in *Fuji at Gotenyama, Shinagawa, on the Tōkaidō*—that make each piece instantly recognizable just by those elements alone.These elements pair exceptionally well with “Hatsune Miku,” who can fuse with various things and transform into countless forms, and I had a great deal of fun creating this piece. I would be delighted if this artwork serves as an opportunity for viewers to explore the worlds of both Hokusai and Miku.
