ferocity—as seen in its attack on Twintail—is captured through its expression, sharp horns on its head, spikes covering its entire body, and whip-like tips on its arms and tail.
Hajime Tanno’s meticulously calculated proportions and unique sculpting, imbued with a ferocious aura, have been faithfully reproduced using ACRO’s U-Vinyl technology (hot-molded vinyl). Please experience its

now part
of the coveted KAIJU REMIX SERIES lineup. I remember being deeply shocked by the new approach to kaiju when the KRS was released back when I was in high school. While kaiju reinterpretations have become commonplace today
, it feels as though they were originally a sacred domain reserved solely for the original creators.
This series is one of the origins of that democratization, isn’t it? As someone
at the end of that chain, I tried to approach this Gudon with sincerity. Come to
think of it, my first memory of a kaiju soft vinyl figure was Gudon. The Gudon soft vinyl figure my
great-grandmother bought for me at a toy store was flesh-colored and smooth, looking more like a baby than anything resembling the character from the movie.I was so attached to it
that I kept it by my bedside, and I feel a strange sense of fate in the fact that I’m now creating one myself. As
I recall, the Gudon soft vinyl figure looked far too upright when viewed from the side, which I remember puzzling me as a child. I believe the arch of its lower back
, its worn-out, protruding neck, and that gentle S-curve are the core of what makes Gudon unique. This
time, I’ve incorporated those elements while remixing them with my own artistic style.I refrained
from excessive volume adjustments, instead focusing on how to incorporate surface details, and added an image of an insect living underground, inspired by its status as an underground monster. Since it moves in
quite a frenzied manner in the show, I aimed to convey a ferocious impression through its face and other features. If you like
