「KRS×TAKEYA」・・・ACRO社が展開するKRS(Kaiju Remix Series)企画に竹谷隆之氏が参戦。
第2弾はカプセル怪獣『ミクラス』が色替え版のEX versionとして登場。
スカルプターズ・ラボ04に掲載された、竹谷隆之氏による彩色見本を製品化しました。
「“いわゆるミクラス配色”に加え、末端の硬質化してそうな箇所にはメタリックな質感を配し、“強そう感”を足すなど、モールドの魅力を強調する技法を施している」という竹谷氏のコメントにもある通り、愛嬌がありながらも威圧感のある仕上がりとなっております。
ACRO独自のU-VINYL技術(焼き出し金型)にてソフビ金型を製作、ミクラス独特の愛嬌のあるシルエットと隅々まで施された装飾の面構成を細部まで忠実に再現しております。
