TV* is finally coming to Blu-ray and DVD—just what fans have been waiting for!
The short film "Puppet Sunsun," which has been airing on Fuji TV’s morning news program "Mezamashi TV" since Wednesday, July 2, 2025 (broadcast nationwide on "Mezamashi TV" every Wednesday around 7:40 a.m.).
"Puppet Sunsun" has surpassed 3.5 million total social media followers as of May 2026. It is currently a hot topic, especially among young people, having ranked third in the "High School Students' Favorite Characters Right Now" ranking (survey by ING Co., Ltd.) announced last March.
"Puppet Sunsun," a short film capturing Sunsun’s daily life, is a completely original new production set entirely in locations such as Sunsun and Nonnon’s secret base and a cabbage field.
■Synopsis
The puppet kingdom of "Toohock" is full of mysteries.
A lighthearted puppet movie featuring 6-year-old Sunsun and her friends.
