Morfonica8枚目となるSingleは、三曲三様の表現でMorfonicaの可能性を示す一枚に仕上がった。
表題曲の「Feathered Dreams」は、TVアニメ「カードファイト!! ヴァンガード Divinez デラックス決勝編」OPテーマとして書き下ろされた楽曲。
伸びやかな旋律にコール&レスポンスが彩りを添えて、どこまでも駆けていけるような期待に満ちた一曲だ。
2曲目に収録されるのは同作品の週替わりEDテーマである「Color of Us」。繊細ながら芯のある印象が、Morfonica自身の姿と重なり合う、共鳴性の高い楽曲となっている。
3曲目の「Portray Empathy」は、スマートフォン向けゲーム「バンドリ！ ガールズバンドパーティ！」で配信中のシナリオに紐付く楽曲。七深(CV：西尾夕香)とつくし(CV：mika)の心のふれあいを通じて広がる世界を、キャッチーな展開と共感を呼ぶ等身大の歌詞で軽やかに描き出している。
