7thアルバムとなる本作『UNDERWORLD』は、欲望と絶望が蔓延する状況下において、それでも問い、迷い、考えることを投げかけるピノキオピーの核心作。前作『META』のミニマルさとは一転して、奔放でエッジの効いたサウンドが混沌とした世界を描き出している。
現実の残酷さを誤魔化す悲哀を見つめる『不死身ごっこ』、盲信することの危うさに寄り添う『T氏の話を信じるな』など、たとえこの世が地獄だとしても、「人間」を諦めず、普通でささやかな日常を愛していきたいと願う、ピノキオピーの抵抗にも似た祈り。
『T氏の話を信じるな』『超主人公』『愛属性』など、人気楽曲を含む12曲を収録。
オリジナルキャラクターである「アイマイナ」が、地獄のような世界で無邪気に遊ぶ姿の対比が印象的なジャケットイラストレーションは、イラストレーター・おぐちによる描き下ろし。

【ピノキオピー プロフィール】
2009年に動画共有サイトにてボーカロイドを用いた楽曲を発表し、
ピノキオピーとして活動開始。
以降も精力的にオリジナル楽曲を発表しつつ、イラストやMVの制作、バンドセットでのライブパフォーマンス、他アーティストへの楽曲提供など多方面で活動している。
代表曲は『すろぉもぉしょん』『神っぽいな』『匿名M』『ノンブレス・オブリージュ』『腐れ外道とチョコレゐト』など。
