Kento Nakajima’s 3rd Single Release Confirmed!
His first double A-side single
, featuring the opening theme for the TV anime “The Young Lord Who’s Good at Running Away” and the theme song for the movie “Love ≠ Comedy,” in which he stars!
Kento Nakajima’s third single, “Onigoto / Fiction Love,” is set for release on Wednesday, August 19! This marks his first double A-side single! The title
track, “Onigoto” (pronounced: Onigoto), serves as the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime “The Young Lord Who’s Good at Running Away”!Kento Nakajima himself contributed to the lyrics, which reflect on the protagonist, Tokiyuki, as he fights desperately to reshape his destiny according to his own wishes, no matter what it may hold. The song is packed with Kento Nakajima’s charm and strength, set to a simple yet lustrous pop sound that captures the image of him sparkling and racing through the ages!
Additionally, the other title track, “Fiction Love,” serves as the theme song for the movie “Love ≠ Comedy,” starring Kento Nakajima, which opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, July 3! “What
if the actors in a drama fell in love in the real world, outside of their roles…?”? This song depicts that fictional scenario, portraying a man tossed about by his lover’s capricious every move—trapped in a world of fiction where it’s unclear what’s a lie and what’s real—as he struggles with the complexities of romantic gamesmanship. Be sure to pay attention to the lyrics, which are sprinkled with film industry terminology to reflect the song’s role as the movie’s theme song!
The First Press Limited Edition A features the “The Young Lord Who’s Good at Running Away” TV anime jacket, while the First Press Limited Edition B features the “Love ≠ Comedy” movie jacket. The “Love ≠ Comedy” movie edition also includes a song written specifically for the film by Kento Nakajima! Both songs were featured as tracks performed by the protagonist, Reiji Kanzaki, played by Kento Nakajima. The album includes “Love Tonight,” which Reiji Kanzaki performs in the film, and “Strawberry,” which enhances key scenes in the movie. Additionally, a limited-time edition featuring original artwork from the anime will also be released!
