マクロスシリーズに登場する可変戦闘機VF-1バルキリーのファイター形態を1/72スケールのプラモデルにしました。
キット解説：パーツ数を抑えながらもディテール表現は抑揚と密度感を兼ね備えたものになっているため、何度も組み立てたくなるようなスピード感でバルキリーの魅力がギュッと詰まった完成品が手に入ります。パーツ同士の合わせ目は極力目立たない部分に設定し、各ユニットがガッチリと所定の位置に収まるようのりしろ部分をしっかり取ったことで、パーツ同士の位置や角度がしっかりと決まり、完成後の剛性感もきわめて高いモデルになっています。
頭部はA・J・S型の3種類から選択、コックピットにおさまるパイロットフィギュアはTV版大気圏内用のものと劇場版用からの選択、そして塗装パターンや使用するデカールを選択することでTV版に登場した各機体や劇場版スカル小隊などを組み立てることができます。
各パーツは4色の成型色となっており、組み立ててデカールを貼るだけでも実感のある仕上がりとなります。
