テレビアニメ『超時空要塞マクロス』より、主人公「一条輝」が初めて搭乗するバリアブルファイター「VF-1D」が、バトロイド形態のまったく新しいプラモデルとして誕生します。
設定画やアニメ登場時のイメージを大事にした力強いプロポーションは、変形を廃しバトロイドオンリーとすることで実現しました。
各パーツは5色で成型され、組み立てて水転写デカールを貼るだけでも実感のある仕上がりとなります。また、細部を塗装することで、より劇中に近づけることもできます。

・各関節にはポリキャップを使用し、スムーズなポージングが楽しめます。
・各種マーキングの再現には水転写式デカールを採用、劇中にて被弾した痕もデカールで表現。
・ガンポッドは専用パーツを使用することで短縮状態に組むことができます。さらに、前腕部に装着用のパーツも付属します。(前腕部に装着するためには多少の改造が必要です)
・同スケールの「一条輝」着座タイプのフィギュア付属、シートが上昇した状態のパーツが付属。
・同スケールの「リン・ミンメイ」「ヨッちゃん」のフィギュア付属。

※組み立てにはプラスチックモデル用ニッパーと接着剤をご用意ください。
