On October 3, 1982, the TV anime "Super Dimension Fortress Macross" premiered, and the VF-1J stunned fans in its opening sequence!
PLAMAX’s new addition to the 1/72 scale VF-1 Fighter Valkyrie series brings this memorable aircraft to kit form.
Kit Overview: While keeping the number of parts to a minimum, the detailing combines dynamic contrast with a sense of density, resulting in a finished model that’s packed with the Valkyrie’s charm and a sense of speed that will make you want to build it again and again. Seam lines
between parts are positioned in areas where they are least noticeable, and generous tab sections ensure each unit fits securely in place. This allows for precise alignment of parts and angles, creating a model with exceptional structural rigidity once completed.The set includes
the iconic J-type head, a standout from the TV series, along with a newly sculpted pilot figure for the cockpit. The panel
in front of the canopy is now a separate part, making it easier to paint. Each part is
molded in four colors, so simply assembling the model and applying the stickers and decals will yield a highly realistic finish. *The
