制式名は20式5.56mm小銃。離島防衛を想定した排水性、耐環境性に優れることが最大の特長です。
アルミ合金と強化樹脂の組み合せで強さと軽さを両立した本体部に、軽量ハンドガード、使用者の体格や装具に合わせて可変できる銃床を装備。
左右どちらからでも操作できるようアンビデトラクスが徹底されるなど、現代火器に求められる要素を高次元で備えています。
89式より短い銃身でありながら、同等以上の命中精度を確保している点も特筆すべき点でしょう。
本キットは、豊和工業株式会社許諾のもと、陸上自衛隊武器学校の取材を実施。
この火器の1/12スケールモデルを徹底的にモデリングしています。
さらに、日本国内生産を敢行し、高いクオリティを実現しました。
