タイトル原題：Clank！： Catacombs
「クランク！ イン・スペース！」に続く、独立型拡張・第二弾！今回のクランク！はゲームボードという決まったダンジョンが存在せず、その代わりにゲーム中にランダムにタイルを繋げてダンジョンを作っていきます。これによってダンジョンが毎ゲーム様々な形を見せ、「毎回違うダンジョンを探検できる」楽しさをプレイヤーに提供しています。
さらに、宝箱や書庫を開けてさまざまなものを獲得したり、牢屋を開けて囚人を開放したり、またダンジョンにいる幽霊が襲ってきたりと今までにないギミックが多数追加されており、今まで以上に臨機応変な対応を求められます。この作品ならではの新カードも多数追加されているので、要となるデッキ構築もまた新たな戦略が必要になるでしょう。
そして、これだけの大きな追加と変更がありながら、これまでの『クランク！』(※クランク！ イン・スペース！を除く)のカードを混ぜても遊べようになっています。今まで遊んできたユーザーも、これから『クランク！』を遊ぶユーザーも満足できる内容となっています！
