Matsumura This plastic model kit recreates the iconic scene from the 1999 film *Gamera 3: The Awakening of the Evil God Iris*, in which a fierce battle rages as the monster wreaks havoc on the streets of Shibuya. The
prototype was designed by Shinobu Matsumura, a leading expert in natural history and biological sculpture.
This kit captures the tense moment just as Gamera is about to deliver the final blow to Gyaos Hyper, rendered in stunning three-dimensional detail.
The convincing wrinkles and muscular contours—a hallmark of a biological sculptor—convey a sense of realism that makes you wonder, “What if Gamera really existed?”
Furthermore, the base—which recreates the skyscrapers of Shibuya—further accentuates the monster’s immense size and the immersive intensity of the battle. The
shell is broken down into individual parts to recreate its overlapping, armor-like structure. You can choose whether to include the
plasma fireball parts or not.
Assemble the skin, shell, and cityscape—each with its own distinct texture—to bring the movie’s climax to life with your own hands.
