元となった原型は1986年に発表した巨大レジンキャストキット。海洋堂造形の源流に位置するこの「邪神兵」は、様々な素材を駆使し造形された胴体や、遠近表現を取り入れた蛇腹部分など、斬新な手法とセンスは当時のホビーシーンに衝撃をもって迎えられました。
それから38年、海洋堂創業60周年の節目に、ついにプラキットになって本作が甦ります。
巨大な原型を3Dスキャン後リサイズ。当時、粘土、バネ、アルミホイルなどで造形された素材感を残しつつ、全パーツをリファイン。
キットの成型色はブロンズカラーを採用し、色を塗らずとも組み立てただけで重厚な仕上がりとなります。
