★Story: The year is 2096, roughly a century after
magic became established as a real-world technology.
A brother and sister were about to enter their second year of high school that winter. The older brother, Tatsuya, was born with a fatal flaw
as a magician. His younger sister, Miyuki, possesses rare talent
as a magician and is perfect in both appearance and intellect. Though their statuses differ—he a
“failure” and she a “top student”—the two have lived as close siblings.
That is, until a letter arrived—
The letter was an invitation to the “Keishun-kai,” a New Year’s Day gathering held at the Yotsuba main house.
At this gathering, where the head of the family, Mayu Yotsuba, and the heads of the branch families would all assemble, the next head of the Yotsuba family was to be designated.
Miyuki feared she would be named the next head.
If she became the head of the family, she would no longer be allowed to remain single and would be required to marry.
That meant giving up her days with Tatsuya.
However, if Miyuki became the head of the family, she could change Tatsuya’s situation—he had long been treated coldly as a Guardian. Miyuki, who wished for
Tatsuya’s freedom, made a major decision on the way to the Yotsuba main family residence.
“Big Brother. I’m going to become the head of the Yotsuba family.”
What fate awaits “The Strongest Siblings”? And what is the shocking truth
hidden between the two of them? Amid
the swirling conspiracies of the Yotsuba family, the siblings’ story heads toward a single conclusion—.
