Just four years after its serialization began, the manga surpassed 10 million copies in worldwide circulation. Now, that frenzy finally descends upon the big screen as a live-action film!

Koji Mizukami, who won the Japan Academy Prize for Best Leading Actor for *If I Could Meet You Again on the Hill Where Those Flowers Bloom* (2023), plays the lonely high school student and protagonist, Haruka Sakura. He passionately embodies Sakura’s transformation as he channels the protagonist’s spirit into his fists and eyes, interacts with his first-ever friends, and comes to understand the true meaning of strength.Joining Sakura in battle as members of “Bofurin” are Taisei Kido, Keie Tsuna, JUNON of BE:FIRST (making his acting debut), Motoki Nakazawa, and Shuhei Uesugi.Rikako Yagi joins the cast as a figure watching over the "Bofurin" members, while Koki Yamashita and Noritaka Hamano portray members of the rival team, "Shishigashira-ren." These young actors, who are currently at the peak of their momentum and active in various fields, have united their passion and determination to bring heart-grabbing characters to the screen.

The entire film was shot on location in Okinawa, recreating the streets where “Bofurin” comes to life.Combining the exhilarating wind action—with wind speeds exceeding 25 m/s that seem to draw viewers into their battle—with the overwhelming passion of the creative duo—Kenjiro Hagiwara (director and screenwriter of *Blue Period*) and Yosuke Masai (director of *Haken Anime!*)—this fusion of youth drama gives birth to a completely new delinquent film that shatters all conventional wisdom.

★Story: Haruka Sakura, a lonely high school student whose only talent is fighting
, comes from outside the city to take the top spot at Fūrin High School, a school feared as a den of delinquents. There, Sakura learns that the students of Fūrin High have transformed into protectors of the city, known as the “Windbreakers.”Though bewildered, Sakura joins the Windbreakers and, alongside his comrades Akihiko Nara, Hayato Soh, and Kyotaro Sugishita, throws himself into the fight to protect the town. Amidst this, after crossing a line that should never have been crossed, the most vicious gang—the “Lion Head Gang,” which worships raw power above all else—begins to move against the Windbreakers as their new target…!Sakura, who had always declared, “I’ll reach the top on my own,” and was constantly clashing with those around her, finds herself in a crisis when Yui is injured by the Shishigashira-ren, who have invaded the city…
