酒井ゆうじ氏の原型制作、プロデュースによるソフビシリーズ「酒井ゆうじ造形コレクション」より、2001年公開の『ゴジラ モスラ キングギドラ 大怪獣総攻撃』からゴジラ(2001)が再登場！
『ゴジラ モスラ キングギドラ 大怪獣総攻撃』にて、今までのゴジラのイメージとは一線を画す、白目というデザインでゴジラファンに衝撃を与えたゴジラ。
初代ゴジラを彷彿とさせるポージングで酒井ゆうじ氏が再現。
ポーズのモチーフは気に入っていたスチール写真があり、いつか作りたいと思っており、ゴジラの体色は実際の着ぐるみの色を元に茶褐色系でまとめられた、氏の思いが込められた意欲作をソフビ化！
氏のキャスト原型をWA×に変換し、マスター金型を製作。
製品はそのマスター型からのみ成形されたものを使用し、ソフビ化による消耗を最小限に止め、ディテールを極力再現する事に注力しました。
塗装は氏の監修にて、ソフビ化された場合の効果的な手法で再現。
