1974年公開の映画『ゴジラ対メカゴジラ』より、にせゴジラが東宝大怪獣シリーズに登場！富士山の火口から飛来した岩石の中から出現した「ゴジラ」はその場に駆け付けたアンギラスと交戦。圧倒的な力でアンギラスをねじ伏せるも、戦いによってゴジラは右腕に傷を負いその下からは見慣れぬ金属が露出していた。その後再び石油コンビナートに現れるも、なんとその場にもう一体のゴジラが出現！こうして前代未聞の「ゴジラ対ゴジラ」が始まるのであった。しかし戦いが進むにつれて先のゴジラは体の至る所に金属が露出していく・・・そして遂に「にせゴジラ」はその正体を現す。全身が宇宙金属で出来たロボット兵器メカゴジラであった。東宝大怪獣シリーズでは「にせゴジラ」の魅力をたっぷり余すところなく再現しました。頭部はもちろん、背びれの膨らみ方、どことなく正体のメカゴジラを連想する手の指の伸ばし方など、ゴジラとは異なるテイストに注目ください。中でも皮膚下から覗く金属部分は「にせゴジラ」のキャラクター性の表す最大の特徴。皮膚を模したカバーパーツを金属部へ取り付けることで、金属部の露出が無い状態、アンギラスとの闘いでの右腕に傷を負った状態、さらにゴジラとの闘いで金属部の露出が増えた状態など様々なシチュエーションが再現可能です。ぜひお手に取ってお楽しみください！
